God’s Way
Scripture: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8 NKJV)
Devotion: As we meditate on Joshua 1:8, we are reminded that God’s plan for our lives is essential to our success. It’s important to know who we are in God’s plan because apart from Him, we have no good thing. While it’s good to have a plan, we must be willing to submit it to God and allow Him to guide us into His perfect will. His plan is always the best plan, and we can trust that He has our best interest at heart. As we trust in Him, we can be confident that He has our back, and that our steps are ordered by Him. Let us rest in the assurance that God’s plan for our lives is the sure thing.
Check out Isaiah 41:10.
Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Wow! What an awesome God we serve!!!
Thought: Let’s do things God’s way, not our way.
Prayer: Lord help us to seek your face in all that we choose to do, so we can find out your plan for our lives because your way is always the best way. Amen.
