Eyes to See

Day 32: Thursday, March 30, 2023

Tom Wiggins

Eyes To See

Scripture: Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.” Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.

(Mark 8:22-25 NKJV)

Now there are two things to notice.

First, Jesus opened his spiritual eyes. If you look at Psalm 1:3, it says the following: He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

Second, he opened his natural eyes, and he saw clearly.

Thoughts: Lord, help us to see with our spiritual eyes as well as our natural eye.

Prayer: Lord, may you heal each person at their point of need, physically, spiritually, mentally, and financially. Amen.
